I am with you 100%, and this is a middle aged man speaking.
After watching super-violent series like, Narcos, Walking dead, Game of Throne, Viking and Squid Game for the past few years, watching Anne with an E felt like a much needed medicine, a huge relief, and a detox to my soul.
Also, the first two episodes of Anne with an E; - actually made me shed tears for the Very FIRST TIME in my life watching a screen play! - Which came to me as a shock.
Though the series has drifted away quite a bit from the original book, the spirit of Anne is so well presented and played by Amybeth Mcnulty, so much so that, she seems like the Real Anne who has walked straight out of the book.
4 years late but I am glad I have discovered the series by chance just a month ago but now I need to see more of it! Cancelling this series feels much like a crime to me, especially when I am currently browsing through Netflix with so many movies and series that does *absolutely nothing to me*; Cancelling Anne with an E truly feels like one of those moments of injustice in it's own stories.

Amybeth's Anne is my first fan art that's how much I stan this show. There are so many shows out there that get renewed for no reason with absolutely bizarre content.If not NETFLIX CAN DISNEY TAKE UP THE SHOW ?
In an age where we have multiple options to stream tv shows, I am one of those who choose not to commit to any particular series ; firstly, because I don't have the time and second of all I have never come across a show as wholesome as 'ANNE WITH AN E " which is absolutely multi-faceted and addresses issues that are still as relevant or more so in the 21st century. Moira Walley -Beckett's soulful tv adaptation of the beautifully written Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery is a must watch and must be renewed. I have been so awestruck by every character of the series that I would have some stationary ready to write their dialogues . The cinematography is on point suited to glorify Anne's imagination and individualism.
Frankly speaking, for a major part of this video my Anne doesn't look like Amybeth McNulty whose portrayal of the character was brilliant and made all of us believe that she was Anne in all her mind, body and soul. I would say the Anne in me ignited the fire within to tread further with patience for as Leonardo Da Vinci would say “Art is never completed, only abandoned.”
The same goes with our beloved show "Anne with an E" which is a masterpiece that has been abandoned.

I am still bummed about it. I can't believe this is for real. Anne with an E is a refreshing, fun, unique tv show that actually was well made and entertaining .. I hope we get a 3 hrs movie as a compensation.

I just saw insta story of actresses who are in anne with an e and in that story they were in Toronto calling toronto their 2nd home (shooting location of the show). So maybe they are just reuniting or maybe creators are finally renewing the show

Thanks for the There aren't a lot of recent youtube videos that discuss the twitter uproar over the cancelation. I would or WE would love it if you spoke about the twitter fandom that is fighting for this show's survival. The money that was gathered by the fans to have these billboards support the cause and make a difference with the sudden cancelation of this GREAT SHOW is something that hasn't been discussed. Spreading awareness is KEY.
