I was born in the 50s,
I have always loved that 'real' ambrosia fruit salad. So good!
My only sibling, my younger brother loved it, too, and always requested doubling the 🍒 cherries!
He's been gone eleven years now. I miss him, my mother, & dad so very much.
I'm the last one standing. Alone.

I love ambrosia salad! The one my mom made for Thanksgiving practically every year growing up used cool whip, a cuppa marshmallows, a cuppa shredded coconut, a cuppa walnuts, and fruit cocktail.😂

I LOVE ambrosia salad but I've never seen it made the same way twice. My mom made it all the time but it didn't have nuts or cherries in it and i think she used sour cream. Another favorite is pears with mayo and cheese🤤
