Or you could just plug it into the amp…

So unless you’re recording you don’t need the DI box. You can plug directly into the amp. Everything time you break up the guitar signal either with foot pedals or what have you, you lose some tone. Limit your connections. No worries everything comes with time.

You LITERALLY don't need the DI....
You can just PLUG THE GUITAR INTO THE GAWDAM AMPLIFIER!!!!😡

What's the point of the DI in this setup? I don't use them very often and was wondering. It's basically bypassing the amp altogether. So if they're sending a DI signal to a mixer then wouldn't it just be a unprocessed guitar sound, and why would you want that sound?
