ITS DONE!!! finally i feel like this animatic took several years off my life lol but im very happy with how it turned out!!! The Todoroki family and story line are far and away one of my favourite bits in MHA and i hope i did them justice :)

THIS IS A MASTERPIECE WHAT WHAT NO THIS IS PEAK
The final part when each one is passing trough the separate portraits (also I like they have one for each member but not one together), like Touya burning his, Natsuo taking his, Fuyumi's about to fall bc of her own rush and Shoto just cleaning Rei's, Enji looking at his, Rei doesn't pass through (maybe bc she was still in rehab) but NO ONE not even Shoto himself looking at his own portrait; this part was *cheff kiss* because it displays everyone's position during the whole mess, and I love it

I love how Horikoshi wrote the Todoroki’s family story so much. He didn’t want Endeavour to just be completely forgiven by everyone who knows him, so he gave each character a unique outlook on the situation. I also love that Natsuo straight up just doesn’t forgive him. I feel like authors try so hard to redeem every single one of their characters by making every other character forgive them, but Hori didn’t do that with Endeavour. This animatic captures that perfectly.

The last sequence with the portraits representing how their stories ended in the manga is absolutely PHENOMENAL

Natsuo finally taking himself out and leaving because he doesn't want to see endeavour anymore
Dabi burning the portrait of touya because he's no longer here, there's only Dabi
Fuyumi's shaking picture because she suffered a lot through it all but still decided to stay with her family
Shoto ignoring his own picture to go wipe his mom's (bringing her back into the family even after what she did to him)

Haven't even finished it and the way you display the events that happened to each member of the todoroki family is gorgeous. This is definitely my favourite MHA fan animation

every frame is absolutely gorgeous and the symbolism with the family portraits at the end is PURE GENIUS. Fuyumi's picture nearly being knocked down, showing her unsteady state, and then Shouto dusting off his mom's picture! that means the WORLD to me. everything in this animatic is so well thought out!! you without a doubt did the todoroki's justice! (hawks at the end is KILLING ME ASJKDNNASD)

The lyrics fit so well especially the part about “The apples rotten right to the core from all the things passed down from All the apples fallen before” that fits todoroki so well and kindle his place in the family and how other younger sibling are/feel.❤️

I haven't been into MHA for a very long time, but this family was always my favorite part of the story---this is SO well done!! All of the art and animations are wonderful, but the end sequence especially was SO GOOD. Touya burning himself off? Natsuo taking his portrait away?? Fuyumi running after him and disturbing her own portrait but it not falling off? SHOTO COMING BACK TO DUST OFF HIS MOM'S PORTRAIT?? all the little details in the whole thing are amazing! thanks so much for sharing!

0:43 - 0:47 is my favorite moment. Call me biased but my favorite Todoroki angst troupe is Natsuo looking at himself but instead sees Enji, then becomes mad at himself

Overall, wonderful video with so many good details. I can see the love and time you spent on this and I really appreciate it <3

I wanna cry. Todoroki family was such a heart-wrenching plotline. Maybe because it felt most "real life".

Natsuo taking his portrait away made my heart twist in a painful way.
