For the home-DIY'er this beast is actually too much saw. I love my 20v DeWalt 6 1/2" cordless circular saw which gets a LOT of use. It is light weight and very handy. Mostly used for breaking down sheet goods, or a quick cut on smaller stuff. My 7 1/4" corded saw stays in storage most of the time now, just because it's bulky and heavy (not so much the cord). I'm seriously planning to make an adapter plate to use my light weight DeWalt battery saw with standard tracks, expressly for sheet goods.
