Founded in 1995, THE MIRÓ QUARTET is one of the most established string quartets performing internationally today. They're also a really fun and charismatic bunch! In this video, this group from Austin, Texas tells us about what they had to think about when deciding on which instruments to play together and what they ended up choosing. We had this conversation while performing together in Hong Kong at the Beare's Premiere Music Festival. PPHK

Amazing video! It’s interesting because I have always tried to match instruments in my quartet. I never thought about how too much matching might be not so good
