I tried the turmeric method and it worked. Now my stems are growing new leaves. But i have covered it with a cover and kept in a dark space. Thankyou so much!..

I tried this 3 years ago 😅but differently. Basically I chose the best cuttings from the bouquet I got from the store. After that, I cut the flowers off and the leaves. Some of the rose cuttings will have little leaves which are the new branches that will grow. Make sure you re-cut the bottom, so it’s fresh and new. After that I cut a bit of the fresh bark from the rose with about 1 1/2 inches. I then dipped the exposed part of the stem in water and dipped it rooting hormone. The next step I did was grab a paper towel, fold it enough to cover the exposed stem, and then wet that paper towel. I basically put the stem on the wet paper towel and wrapped it around it to cover it and the bottom securing it. Lastly, I I used a bottle of water and filled it was a little water and but the rose cutting with the wet paper towel in it. I made sure it was in a warm place and covered the top with a ziplock bag to keep moisture in. I mean it worked for me and then I later put it in dirt which it absorbed all the rotting powder and rooted but there’s many way to do this. Just sharing the way I did it. It could’ve been easier lol💀 I was in 7th at that time, but now I have a beautiful thick petal rose plant that smells amazing.

I received a rose as a gift at a conference, I cut the stem to make it fit the vase & put it in water and placed it in a west window, so direct afternoon sun (filtered by some hemlock trees). I think I threw a tiny bit of hydroponic fertilizer in it at one point bc I had a little extra from houseplants. I’m not a gardener, don’t have any flowers or outdoor plants. I just looked at the stem and it’s starting to grow the crystalline looking stuff that my money tree & schefflera cuttings grow on them before growing roots. I got this rose on April 5th & today is the 23rd of May. Not sure if it’ll do anything but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did you solve the issue with the roots you mentioned in your description?

The other guy said take it and cut it off with a forty five degree angle and dip it in honey, then stick it to the ground

This never works, they seem to grow but they failed. Just remember these roses come from Colombia. We will never get same roses ! 😅

Better off buying a rose plant. You don't know what type of rose this is and if it is even suitable for your climate.

I’m blocking you. Instead of showing if it worked you just wasted time
