the one out of maybe 3 bad things about Friends, was Joey and Rachel storyline. So forced at the end of the show, because it appeared out of nowhere in season 8 out of all 10 seasons, and never made sense, ever. Even actors hated it - this tells you all you need to know. 3 bad things about Friends: Joey&Rachel storyline, the fact that Ross&Rachel weren't reunited sooner and written fighting less, and the fact that we didn't see Ross&Rachel wedding. Except for all these 3 things, Friends was perfection.

Why couldn't the writers just get Ross and Rachel back together at the end of season 8? This whole constant teasing of them getting back together, just for it to go nowhere, reached an all-time low. Joey and Rachel were just cringey.

One of the worst moments or even episodes of the show easily, basically the creators were out of ideas and did this

Probably one of the "Jumping the Shark" moments of this show, and one I always skip when rewatching. I get that Rachel was tired from just having had a baby, but the whole mess could have been easily resolved with one brief conversation. So of course, Joey keeps getting interrupted when he tries to explain what happened.

It was such a stupid storyline, clearly just for the pure comedy and laughs. It was awful behavior on Joey's part, towards both, Ross and Rachel. Joey didn't propose. He picked up the ring by accident without any intention and it was a cringe, stupid storyline. It was Ross's family ring. I'm fed up with people always only being negative about Ross yet NEVER calling out other characters for their horrible behavior. Joey lied to Rachel& Ross by omission, never clarifying anything to Rachel or saying anything to Ross.
Context made it 1000 more horrible: Rachel was the new mother of the baby of his best friend and the love of the life of his best friend. This is breaking the bro code 1000 times over. He had ALL day, to tell the truth, that it wasn't a proposal and it wasn't even his ring, yet he didn't say a word, allowing Rachel to think he proposed, and also never told Ross that he acted this way and that he literally used Ross's ring. If that was not enough, it was just after Rachel had Ross's baby!!

It was a betrayal, Friends don't act like this, especially since Joey knew what Rachel means to Ross. They ruined Joey's character with this stupid, nonsense storyline and what's worse they started it in season 8 for pure idi0tic laughs because we know it didn't go anywhere. It was one of the WORST moments of the entire show! I'm glad even the actors: Jen and Matt Le Blanc, hated this storyline and wanted it to end; they talked about it in various interviews.

1:22 Jack thinks people are having sex in that room and then suggests to Ross, his son!, and Joey to have a peek.
I think that's disgusting! Him wanting to peek and inviting his son to peek too.
And also, after he finds out it's Monica and Chandler he doesn't close the door right away, but keeps on looking a little longer.
