I put one of the GoolRc combos in a Typhon Mega. I ended up turning it into a KRATON with Big Rock tires. It will run low 30’s on 2s and low 40’s on 3s.

That was a great run! I've gotten 43mph out of mine on 2s with a 50 spur and 19 pinion. Anxious to try 3s to see if I can squeeze out 60

Great fun 👍 I've just upgraded my one to a 3000kv and got 30mph instead of 22mph but in the UK it was about 1/2 degree c so very cold for the lipo, s so maybe 2/3 mph faster in warmer weather, but it does accelerate really good, but I ain't done yet iam gonna buy a cheap 4000kv and really wake up the s.o.b lol see if its as great as my vxl rustler ??? Crazy speed difference since the 2s is the similar as mine which had sport gearing, anaconda tires, and stock 12t motor

Just got this esc/motor combo from your link. Did you need a ESC programming card?

2S is 7.4 volts. 3S is 11.1 volts. Try a 4S 14.8 volts to see the speed on a higher volt battery.

Nice speeds, are you still using the stock bushings on the wheel axles or upgraded to bearings. Do you prefer the Rustler XL5 with brushless upgrade or the Bandit XL5 with brushless upgrade, which of the 2 cars would you choose between them.
