Not sure about other countries, but late 2019 when the Wuhan virus was well into affect across China, before the CCP informed WHO or other countries, shops and stores all across Australia and major Chinese dominated cities along the American west coast, were short of medicines, rubber gloves and other PPEs were in short supply. Because Chinese citizens, at the direction of foreign local consulates, were buying and hoarding material from any and all box stores, chain pharmacies, supermarkets and club stores to send back to China, at double and triple prices. Ignoring and disregarding American and Australian citizens’ health needs.
What’s more ironic is, the majority of many important and necessary medicines, have their base material and ingredients are made in China. Karma is a wonderful thing.

Getting Covid at t his time, when it isn't so deadly is not as big problem as the rate in which infections rise. If infections would rise slowly, medical system wouldn't be overloaded and slowly herd immunity would be acquired. But now it is hard. I guess they loosened too quickly. I had Covid twice and first time it was no fun at all, but the second time it was almost unnoticeable. Most of people I know already had it and they are fine now. I Wish all the best to China and their people.
