It sucks soooo badly. Been hit by nettle plant while camping. An old dude who knew the area brought me over to an elephant ear plant growing roughly 5 feet from the nettle olant, chopped off a long stem from the elephant ear, dabbed the stinging/stabbed spots, then cut the EE stem again, and dabbed, cut, dabbed. It helped immensely.
