I always felt like Cheren should’ve gotten a different rival theme. Is that just me? I always loved this rival theme, but I felt it fit Bianca a lot more than Cheren. Even Pokémon Masters shows this with its remix of it tailored specifically for Bianca.

This remaster is really amazing either way!! Brings back a lot of memories.

Ahh the good memories of playing this as a kid. This and the Hoenn rival theme are the best. You actually feel happy to battle them just to listen to the music.

Cheren started all tough and softened up during his journey, learning power was only a means to an end.

Bianca started anxious and unsure about her future, and grows into her role as Professor Juniper's assistant, becoming brave and reliable to help those around her.

I started with the goal of exploring and created bonds I never thought I'd need.

The three of us had a great month together. I miss these guys so much, I'm gonna replay so many times once I get the chance.

My favorite Rivals! Friendly but still serious about competing with the protagonist. As a kid i've always liked choosing Oshawott so Bianca could get Tepig because it fitted with her colors

This is the second best theme in Gen 5 behind team plasma battle, and oh my god this rendition is PERFECT. If this is what Gen 5 remakes would sound like, get it to me faster please!

The fact that these two at least aren't in Indigo disc is a travesty. Imagine how the double battle format would be if you fought them as super bosses. Or individually with a return of the Triple and rotation battle formats.

This could not be more perfectly timed, I just started playing through my Pokemon Black Version again! Gen 5 has one of the best Pokemon Sountracks of all time, and this is a fantastic remaster!
