When I hear American Citizen, I think of how hard my Vietnamese mom studied and worked to learn English to take her citizenship test and never lived off the “system” but worked 40+ hours a week to give her children a better life. The so-called revelation this girl thinks she had is hilarious!😂

It may be because I'm German, but when I hear the term "American citizen" I think of Native American people from Alaska to Chile first, and then of the USA as a melting pot of people from all over the world. An American citizen isn't white, they have every colour possible.

The teachers that are out here teaching children that AREN'T their's THEIR opinions on things that have nothing to do with the curriculum is ridiculous. Creating hate instead of doing your job isn't okay. No matter what race you are or what you believe.

It’s so disheartening that rather than give students objective information to allow them to form their own opinions, teachers use their own bias and world views to program these youths to what they think they should be. People like this are starting to be put into positions of power, I’m genuinely afraid.

No it’s not. If you’re born in America and or are a citizen of America. You’re AMERICAN. My grandmother Cherry (who was born in Jamaica but raised in Britain) is an American because she is a legal citizen of America and has now spent MOST of her life in America. If you think calling someone American is racist you’re racist GTFO of my country 😂

American citizen here and have traveled many countries. When I speak most if not all ask if I’m American or Canadian, if they don’t know me. In Chicago my hometown I’m another Mexican.
