Floodwaters reach Taj Mahal for the first time in 45 years

Floodwaters in India touched the Taj Mahal for the first time in many years. The palace is being threatened by the rising Yamuna river.

The flooding has been caused by a period of intense rainfall.

Everytime i see the Taj Mahal, i always think of my grandparents house (RIH) when they purchased their first home in 1960. My Uncle painted a picture of the Taj Mahal on the living room wall. 😢😢😢😢😢 I miss them all!
