Kanchanjunga Express Collides With Goods Train In West Bengal's Darjeeling, Rescue On. Several passengers have suffered injuries after an express train collided with a goods train in Darjeeling district of West Bengal this morning. Kanchanjungha Express was travelling from Silchar in Assam to Sealdah in Kolkata when a goods train hit it from behind near Rangapani station, close to New Jalpaiguri.

First see whether it is a technical failure or sabotages. The person who gives signal, maintain track, runs the train is not railway minister. It is a moral responsibility. Is people are moral ? Now question yourself. You want not fully qualified people to be recruited, promoted on reservations and then question government. Why reservations in promotions? Giving satta to unqualified persons through reservations. If you appointment 100 hardworking ministers, they can't save railway till you remove reservations

Everybody simply blaming loco pilots but just look into their working patterns... They work for min 12hrs Max hrs sometimes touching 20hrs u can't even imagine... The temperature inside engine in summer is around 55 degrees how can somebody work continuesly for beyong 12hrs in that Temperature and taking less than 8hrs rest in running room and again work for 12hrs duty ... Even employees demanding for their rights... no authorities coming forward to look into thier problems... Anybody get tired when continuesly doing night duties and long working hours that is human nature... And there is huge shortage of loco pilots in every divisions... Because of that more pressure on running staff... They working without getting leaves no holydays on festivals no social life... Pathetic situation for running staff in railways

Eastern Railway is fully responsible for this incident because there is long demand of LHB coaches for the Both the Silchar Kanchenjunga and Agartala Kanchenjunga express, But Eastern railway is busy with giving LHB coaches too short distance trains 🤫
