Excellent video, loved the side by side views of the suspension working around the curves. I also appreciate the objective observations and technical details.

Good video. The Jeeps Top and Doors come off and that is a much more fun off road experience IMO. I think the Gladiator should have a 392 V8 in it for that price point.

It's great that you have built your own courses for off raod testing.

I’m not necessarily a Ford guy, but I have to give credit where it’s due. Ford did an amazing thing with the Ranger Raptor. I think it’s the best deal in the truck market right now. Not just the performance off-road truck market, but the truck market in general. The capability, utility, amenities and option set, and from what I’ve heard from basically every review, the every day comfort and drivability, at the price point Ford gave this truck is impressive. Take note Jeep, Toyota and others. A highly capable and not obnoxiously priced truck is possible!

Drove a gladiator. It’s not for me but I can see how it could be for someone else. Kind of a jack of all trades. Interior space was a little tight but I’m sure the ranger is too. Makes sense though on trails. I have no feedback on reliability but fun factor is more important imo and really all new vehicles are quite reliable compared to the good ole days.

After all the reviews and or side by side comparisons to the Range Raptor, I am sold on the Ford over any other product in this class. I would still prefer a V8 under the hood of my truck(s) but the RR seems to prove the jack of all trades in this class. Makes me wish I had a need for a truck.

I wish gladiator can adapt the I6 hurricane engine and give us option for single cab w/5ft bed would be absolutely amazing for weekend wheeling😮

Picked up the Gladiator Mojave a year ago. Currently have about 18k on the odometer. Yes the competition has the advantage on power and the on road benefits of indepenant front end. But there's nothing quite like being able to remove the top and doors for a little fun at the beach for my family. IMO it makes for the most overall fun. And the interior of the JL and JT are super comfy IMO.

My guess is the Hurricane 3.0 gladiator will be released soon. Will be a great competitor for the ranger raptor. Unfortunately it will have an elevated price from the already elevated price. Fortunately they haven’t been holding resale. Should be a nice bargain a year or two later.

that baja section was the best car action ive seen in a while, plus the whole video is golden! Do like the looks of the raptor better imo

I was really impressed with your knowledge of the Mojave. I was going to leave my suspension and tires stock, but after high centering it once...

Well, I got a 2.5" lift and went with 37" KO2s (which actually measure 35.6 Dia. so no regearing and still pretty light) no more high centering.

Using a formula I found on line I'm hitting 28.5° breakover-nice enough for playing on the rocks. Also I got JKS quick disconnect swaybar endlinks, but I haven't been anywhere to really put them to the test.

The way ford rocked the rear suspension on the ranger raptor is a game changer for sure.

I'm in the market for a midsize truck, and two things keep drawing me to the Gladiator. Living in Florida, the #1 thing is the removable top, and #2 is the huge discounts that I keep seeing on new ones. However 95% of my driving will be on paved roads, and they don't have the best reputation for towing (would be a Sea-Doo or small camper). I know you're not testing that here, but I'm hoping this will help me decide one way or the other.

You got that right! Prices are too high on everything!! I guess there really isn’t anything like the gladiator on the market that has a removable top that can tow/haul and go on the trails. I believe that karma comes around and one has to be respectful. If I need a pull on the trail hopefully someone in a Jeep or whatever is willing to help. ❤

Jeep, tires and suspension of a true off-road machine. Engine of a minivan😂

Once again a really great video. You really are still getting better! A great course in great terrain. Your explanations are also really great. The course is also getting better and better, so you can really test everything. I also get the impression that you are really trying to remain objective. This is very important. Thank you for the great video. Keep it up. Best regards.

Great video as usual! 2 more technical details about the baja mode is it also gives you the max throttle response and will constantly spin 1 of the turbos to kick in the power faster (source: Raptor Assault).

great video! I think it's pretty amazing that you're doing all this investing in property so you can PROPERLY test vehicles, so cool!!
