I produced, directed, edited, and also did the styling/hair/makeup myself (yes, of course, the dress and crystals on my face are from Amazon!) It was my first time working with cinematographer Gabe Kimpson, who was incredible with the Steadicam and also did the color correction. Thank you, Gabe! I feel that The Last Samurai soundtrack doesn't get enough love that it clearly deserves. I'm glad that Hans included it into his 2022 live tour, as it was simply beautiful, just like this music video. But I am still waiting for the complete score from one of the top soundtrack labels.

So beautiful. We just had this song played at a brother in arms funeral. He taken his own life cause of the demons he saw. He couldn't take it. He was in S.F. guy and the body and mind takes a toll on some of us. We handle ot our own ways. He loved the last samurai. It was his favorite movie. Today we buried our brother and this album was well suited for him. Thank you for remaking this already beautiful master peace. Idk if he ever seen this or not but I'm sure he did.

One of the greatest pieces Hans Zimmer has ever written. Heck, one of the greatest pieces anyone has ever written. i come back to this piece every other day to simply close my eyes and talk to my self devoid of all the noise of the world around me. Its so loud outside that i cannot hear the man within speak. This allows me to converse with the man that remains when all else is gone.
