Does he want all college football programs outside of the SEC to close the doors, disband the team, and demo the stadium? Nothing but SEC. Seriously. Does he know that the defending champion is not from the south?

Did Alabama really play Mercer in November?? Why does the SEC get away with scheduling cupcakes this late in the season?

Finebaum needs to retire! He’s no longer relevant as his biased opinions have proven to be irritating!

Finnebaum’s perpetual frustration comes from the fact both his cousin and sister said no when he asked them to prom since they had already planned to go together.

Paul is a certified Big 10 hater. PSU loses to the #2 team in the country by one score and they’re overrated, but all the SEC teams with bad losses aren’t irritating???

The sad thing is that if Indiana should happen to beat Ohio State this week, Finebaum will ONLY rant about OSU losing to lowly Indiana as proof the Big10 sucks, as opposed to apologizing and saying "I was completely wrong about the Hoosiers. They are obviously an excellent team having a great season." Then he will go on to explain why a 3 loss SEC team is more deserving of a playoff spot than a 2 loss OSU. Finebaum is so transparently biased and so frequently wrong that he has become totally irrelevant.

The CFP is not a showcase for the SEC, despite what Finebaum thinks. No team, outside of the conference champion, is guaranteed a spot. This playoff will become a joke very quickly if a 1 loss or an undefeated team is eliminated in favor of 2 and 3 loss power conference teams. Nobody should expect all 12 teams to go undefeated. But they also shouldn't expect to be in the playoffs with 3 losses just because of who they are or who they played.

SEC schedules are crafted so that a team isn’t expected to lose more than 2 games. For Tennessee, they had Georgia and Alabama as those two. They split those, but lost to Arkansas out of left field which wasn’t supposed to happen.

All this talk about Indiana’s schedule, but they had to play Washington and Michigan, the two teams that played for a National Championship, and Ohio State.

And no, the B1G isn’t trying to fluff Indianas schedule so that they made the playoff. I respect Indiana’s schedule more than Tennessee’s

The mental gymnastics ESPN and that weasel are having to do to distract from the fact that the SEC is just down this year are hilarious 😂

I don't know why SEC fans/ media is so upset. They will get their 4 teams in CFP and have an opportunity to prove it on the field. And if they are crying because their 1st game is in the snow. too bad, the north teams had to suffer for 100 years playing bowl games in your home. If you want to play in the NFL you have to play in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Green Bay or Buffalo in December. Get used to it. It sounds like they would only be happy if they had 8 SEC teams in. ha!

Alabama lost to Vandy 😂😂😂

LSU lost to USC 😂

Texas A&M lost to notre dame. Notre Dame lost to a MAC team LOL.

Tennessee lost to Arkansas LMAOOO

Why should any of those teams be ahead of IU when they can’t even handle their “cupcake” games? While IU has won every game by two scores besides Michigan? Btw Michigan is a top 5 team if they had a good QB.

I bet he finds them irritating because they’re taking the spotlight away from teams like Alabama and Georgia and the SEC in general. They’re having success while some SEC teams are not. I find it irritating how big of an SEC bias he has.

Play 9 conference games and maybe I’ll care

Finebaum spent years crying about Michigan and then looked like a fool when they won.

"I don't believe they can hold up vs SEC teams", well thank goodness we have a playoff to see for sure instead of guess. On the other hand, we have seen many of these SEC teams lose especially to unranked teams so why is everyone crying they should get in?? (Looking you Ole Miss, Bama, Tennessee). I couldn't care less who "would be favored on a neutral field", that is the dumbest and most embarassing argument anyone can make.

If the College Football Playoff existed during the BCS Era, I do believe the Big Ten would have won as many, possibly more championships, than the SEC. So many of those loaded Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Ohio State teams were the victims of in-conference carnage.

How about the SEC go play nine conference games like the Big Ten does you southern teams come up north play in the snow and freezing weather and white out conditions and when until then, I would keep your mouth shut because none of your other teams are capable of playing up north Anyone complain 70° weather. It takes real football players to play in the snow.

Alabama is number 1. Any team that can handle Mercer like Bama did, is number one in my book.

He should be irritated at Alabama for scheduling a team like Mercer in November when every other team is playing a division one school. You play a team like Mercer at the beginning of the season. You don’t play a cupcake team like that in the last three weeks of the season.

I'm a Bama fan, live in Indiana and very proud of the Hoosiers!
