I'm almost certain that the bulk of Heavy's weight is muscle. He definitely has a lot of fat over it, but...that's actually kinda healthy. Bodybuilders usually have some excess fat in their off season, since it's really unhealthy to have huge muscles and no fat reserves. They don't lose the fat until it's time to show off the guns. Plus, we know Heavy eats a healthy diet of meat, fruit, sandwiches, and a little bit of chocolate, and he definitely gets loads of exercise running around the battlefield holding Sasha. This man is quite possibly in peak male condition.

Heavy may be one of the most healthy mercs, he does some exercises every now and then, and he eats a Sandwich, Steak, Banana and Chocolate bar, my man's building the entire damn food pyramid, what other mercs do the same?
Scout eats a bucket of chicken and chips, Sniper and Medic only drink coffee as far as we know, Engie makes a _lot_ of bacon, Soldier eats MRE and something out of a can with a raccoon, Demo is on an alcoholic diet 24/7, Pyro feeds off agony and Spy has those tiny game hen to eat inside his teeth...

I feel that many people think the joke in the video is the article poking fun at Heavy's physique. However, I think the real joke is the article title itself, making it sound like we only just discovered the benefits of healthy living.

to be fair, his favorite food is a ham sandwich, so he doesn't seem particularly unhealthy aside from being middle-aged and overweight

plus he has many workout cosmetics and taunts, and he carries around a minigun that is heavier than shaquille o'neal
