Swapped a 7 Plus for the Galaxy S8 Plus no regrets. I think the G6 would also be amazing but the design of the S8 is in another league.

The wife and I are loving our S8 and S8+ so far. Can't say enough about the display as it truly looks and feels like a "futuristic" mobile device. Have no complaints what so ever with the location of the finger print scanner either. Highly recommend for anyone unsure of the direction of their next upgrade.

The S8 has a great display - and for me that trumps pretty much everything besides battery life - and that's pretty subjective. Your comparison really helped - even though I will probably never buy either lol

There is no question the S8 is a better phone and also better valued. LG G6 is overpriced, to stay competitive it should be priced at $550 or less.
