A young mother is being called a hero after she died trying to save her young son’s life.
Columbus police officers are not stopping until they find the suspects who stole a vehicle while a sleeping child was inside and ended the life of the 29-year-old mother, Alexa Stakely, in southeast Columbus.
Her coworkers, friends, and family members gathered outside Winchester Elementary School, where she was a speech-language pathologist, Wednesday night to remember her and support each other.
