Can we please stop acting like anything that might be considered "sexy" is somehow diminishing or disrespectful to people. We are sexual beings and feeling confident and attractive is not something we should shy away from. If the male gymnasts started competing shirtless I would have no problems with it and I'm a straight male. I would not lose sleep over the thought that some women might be getting turned on by the athletes bodies. I'm sure they are capable of still respecting them for their athleticism too. I don't understand this idea that you can't respect someone AND find them sexually attractive at the same time. It makes no sense.
