Suggestion: put the netting around the garden. Also take your cold ashes from the fire and put it in your garden it helps keeps bugs off of the plants. Also put your egg shells out n there good for the soil.

Taking down the netting before you are ready to put up the wood up walls, was not a good idea, you have taken away the only protection you had, you should have left it up, and only took down one wall at a time, replacing with the wood, working your way around the building till done, that way you are keeping the home protected and safe from winds, rain, and the cold, plus animals ect.
