Tedding Hay with the Farmall MD

Today I'm tedding hay with the Farmall MD and Kuhn 4 star tedder. This is the first test of the MD, and the first time I've run this tedder after buying it at auction. How will they do? The hay is thick, but drying conditions are perfect. Hopefully I'll be baling tomorrow!

Note:
-We do not offer farm tours
-We do not ship our farm's products
-We do not sell live animals

My parents did this by hand in Transylvania and Croatia. Haying is in my blood. Your videos keep the dream alive while I search for my farm life. Thanks!

My guess was already taken... can't wait to see the bailer out there tomorrow. I really enjoy the addition of the drone footage... so cool to see the overview of what you've worked and what's left to work, so awesome. Thanks for taking the time to do it!

Thank you for taking the time during this busy haymaking season, to shar this little slice of Heaven, Pete! To the two people who clicked "I dislike this", well, I hope you can reach out and talk to somebody about your issues. We are all somebody's child, and I hope you find happiness some day. Try to channel your inner Pete - it will make you a better person, and people will start to like you!

look at it this way, if it's making a rattling noise then you know it's still working LOL. When it quits rattling you may want to investigate.... Awesome video again... 19 bales

Love your older equipment. Being raised on a farm in the 50's and 60's this sure brings back lots of memories. Thanks Pete to your dedication to your equipment and your farm.

I don’t know why but every tedder I’ve ever used sounds like a box of glass falling down an escolar.
MD looks great though. Love seeing old equipment running.
I’m guessing 30 bails. T-shirt, hat, or even a sticker are all great prizes.
Be well my friend.

Bursting with pride to see the MD step up, after watching its renovation all winter.

I have no idea about hay baling, but I’ll guess 33 bales. I drove behind a tractor pulling equipment today. “Hey! I know what that is! A tedder!”

I’m going to guess 50 round bales. Love watching the old machines do such great work.

Glad to see the tedder working out for you, we have the same one also new to use this year, we usually pull it with 19 pto hp and it does fine on flat ground! Ill take a guess of 20 bales even its a hard estimate.
