Need For Speed and Burnout had always been my favorite racing game series.

Especially on the PS2,
That was The Golden Age for Need For Speed.

There's so many good games to choose from, it's hard to pick my number 1. But I think we can all agree that Burnout, Need For Speed Underground and Gran Turismo are definitely some of the best.

In my opinion, Gran Turismo 4 deserve to be number 1.

700+ cars, around 100 tracks, great graphics, the amount of content, no DLC, no lootboxes, no microtransactions and everything I mentioned is in one disc! Very impressive for 2004-2005 game.

Burnout 3 Takedown and NFS Hot Pursuit 2 (the PS2 version) are my favorite arcade racing games of all time. Just sublime.

I love Gran Turismo 4 and Hot Pursuit 2/Underground 2/Most Wanted were other-worldly…. But the Best racing game of the PS2 era will forever and always be Burnout 3 Takedown

For me, Mx vs Atv untamed blew my mind the first time I played it. The maps were huge, beautiful and the random npcs made the maps feel alive.

Haven’t played NFS Hot pursuit 2 in almost 20 years, but the soundtrack has always been a part of my playlist and some of the memories of playing it have lived rent free in my head since, absolutely love it

Hot Pursuit 2 is like an old leather jacket, it brings back good memories, it has aged well and can still be enjoyed today

Hot Pursuit 2 PS2 version is my all time favorite ❤️ that main menu, narrator talks about each car with charismatic voice, music, especially “Ordinary”, “Build your Cages “.. damn, so many wonderful memories…
