Listening to the game, the announcer made such a big deal of the leadoff HR i predicted one was all they'd get.
It's like the twins go into a mindset that someone else will carry them.

Sorry but I never bought into The Twins this year. They had too many hills to climb. 1st: The Pohlad’s cut the payroll. 2nd: The Twins started 6-13. 3rd: They had a huge injury bug that turned into a season long issue. 4th: They cured their strikeout woes but they lead the league in hitting into double plays. 5th: Their pitching is to on and off and you can’t count on many of these guys night after night sorry it is what it is. Can they go all the way and win a World Series? Sure! The miracle Mets did it against The Orioles I believe in 1969 and emphasis on 55 years ago. The Mets finished 82-80 and they clearly were the worst team of all the playoff teams but there’s a reason they called them The miracle Mets because the following years none of those players ever really produced during the season like they did in that magical moment in 69’ when there really were Angels in the outfield (Ron Swoboda made the best catch in World Series history). Why did I bring up The Miracle Mets because that’s the only way The Twins could win it all. The New York Yankees stand in the way and if you’re not sure why I mentioned them look up The Twins record against the Yankees for the past 20 or so years especially The Playoffs. It would take a miracle Mets playoff scenario for them to win. So relax in Minnesota we only had one miracle ever in sports history and that was the 2017 catch by Stefon Diggs against The Saints with time running out in the 4th quarter. If you really want the Twins to win it all peeps better pull out the talismans because it’ll take unnatural magic to be done.

Guys stop hating on Julien, he’s one of the only Canadians to make it to the big leagues and he’s a super nice guy that does his best and always wants to get better. He will come back stronger and will move on. Love to Eddy ❤
