50 ways Minecraft is different to real life

In this Mumbo Jumbo Minecraft video, we take a look at 50 ways Minecraft is different to real life. Minecraft VS real life is a fun discussion, as Minecraft shares many similarities but also enormous differences to IRL. Minecraft Steve would have bigger arms than Arnold, Minecraft Mountains aren't Mountains, and Minecraft diamonds are too big. Realistic Minecraft isn't that realistic, Minecraft IRL isn't realistic, Minecraft isn't real!

I'd like to imagine that Mumbo tried all these things to make sure they didn't work in real life.

"Imprisoning the people of your village and forcing them to work is generally frowned upon." is quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever heard Mumbo say

“Skeletons don’t exist” this confirms Mumbo is boneless

Can’t believe Mumbo managed to find something to top “rocks don’t float” and “if you die you probably won’t respawn” for number 50 but wow he sure did

As a person who said ‘this is a stupid video’ before Mumbo Jumbo, I can confirm it was a life-changing experience.

I love how Mumbo made an entire video just to get off a mustache joke.

This man went on a buddhist experience to touch real grass for a while, returns, and starts posting videos about how the real world is different from the game he makes content about. Incredible. Truly an inspiration to us all!

I’m glad he made this video. I haven’t been outside in three weeks and I needed a refresher as to what real life is.

This is so much more entertaining if you imagine that these are all things Mumbo discovered during his bike trip. I strongly believe now that Mumbo had been making a list during his time playing Minecraft, and then finally one day just told Vicky that they were going to start crossing things off.

Actually, the size of minecraft's mountains makes a lot of sense if the gravity is really strong because the higher the gravity of the planet, the shorter mountains can be, and if the atmosphere is thin it would make sense for the mountains to be snow capped even if they're short. So in a way it's actually pretty realistic for a planet with really high gravity like minecraft to be the way minecraft is!

Mumbo: If one of these surprised you, I'm concerned for you.

Also Mumbo: Skeletons don't exist in real life

We need a sequel where it shows how Minecraft actually IS similar to real life :D Like the bucket fishing thing, or maybe Mycelium or grass spreading?

You can feel Mumbo’s energy back in the videos, and it feels great, so glad he’s rested

It's always a joy to see the reactions of people who have only seen Mumbo's Minecraft content when they learn that he, in fact, does not have a moustache in real life.

that was a solid video for what was essentially a build up to the killer joke of "i can't actually grow a moustache"

I love how Mumbo never fully confirms that the most obvious differences between Minecraft and real life are true. So *maybe* throwing a block of stone onto a cactus will make the stone disappear without a trace.

The final line hit me HARD. This is unironically a cinematic masterpiece.

So glad Mumbo is able to do these fun blip videos again. He genuinely sounds like he's having fun again!

Bonus fact for the lava bucket thing. Mostly for when you were sitting in it afterwards.

Lava is very dense. Molten rock is less dense than it's solid counterpart, but rock is rock, and you would sit, burning, on the surface of the lava, perhaps molding a dent into the top at best.
