Did anyone get the fact that the VP basically admitted that these books (paid for by taxpayers money) would be a political tool (with her name basically reaching thousands of parents)...again at the tax payers expense. Why does the senate committee allow her to go off on tangents regarding political motivations and revenge, when all that was asked was how many books will be purchased and what the book is about? What should be pointed out her, in a not so polite way, is how this VP has been consistently proposing CREATIVE budget funding strings (Secreted DEPED budget, assistance budgets - duplicates of other agency existing programs, backpacks, books, etc.), all of which are obviously designed to circumvent public scrutiny on where the money is really going.

Other senators are just giving safe statements regarding the OVP's presentation, , , I think it's only Risa Hontiveros who gave further discussions and asked a lot of questions for specific projects that the OVP is presenting.
