Singapore is developing a major national programme to address its ageing population and prioritise spending on it. Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said it will be as significant as Healthier SG, the country's billion-dollar healthcare reform. At the Agency for Integrated Care's Work Plan Seminar today, he laid out systemic changes that are on the way to help people age well. To better support those seeking healthcare away from clinics and hospitals, MediSave will cover home care services. This will begin in July with video consultations for palliative care patients.

Malaysia no GST and major surgery at ZERO $ compare to compulsory Medishield and still must pay. Hospital 1 night easily $1500 per day and claimed ZERO dollar [see fine print on deductibles].
