I have a machine shop in my basement, fully functional wood shop, mig and tig welder, plasma arc, sheet metal fabequipment, CNC. I have a 10, 000 dollar computer under my office desk with 88 cores for parallel computing and AI. Books wall to wall. Laboratory equipment and lots of lab glass ware. A have a fully functional electronics test bench and soldering hot air rework station, infrared soldering station, and two 3D printers. I'm trying to decide what to day. Do I want to build a deck or build a proton precesseion magnatometer? It's hot outside. I'm thinking retreat to the air-conditioned lair. It's hard being a sigma male sometimes. Most people who meet me think I have lost my mind. What annoys me is that most people can't relate to me and I can't relate to them. That is why it is so hard to talk. They try to tell me how do something about what I am working on and me knowing they don't know what they are talking about. In my head I'm going I wish they would please just be quite.

#4 Incompetence: is huge for an entrepreneur. I just ordered new business cards and custom DVD cases from 2 different printing companies. Both of them failed.

The business cards had a nice border around them but the printer decided to cut them off center which meant that only 2 sides actually had borders. When I spoke to the rep about it, they said they don't encourage people to use borders and I should remove it from my design. Cool story bro, then why do you offer borders on a bunch of your templates for people to use instead of designing their own?

The custom DVD cases were too dark. I ordered 5 of them for 5 individual clients and all of them are way too dark. I went to a Walgreens to get prints and compare them and the Prints were virtually dead on to what they were supposed to look like. I sent that to the DVD maker and they said it was likely because my monitor was off color and too bright. That they don't control what walgreens does with their monitors. True, but if it's my monitor's fault, that means it's also my phone, work computer, girlfriend's phone, friend's phone and walgreens computers that all are wrong when compared to each other... Which is beyond unlikely.

I literally went to 2 different printing companies and both of them couldn't print things properly. I didn't go to my mechanic or lawyer and asked for business cards, I went to the people that are supposed experts and they couldn't get the job done. Needless to say that despite having a history with these companies, I know their quality, I will no longer be doing business with them.
