Climate Diaries: Meet the team cleaning up the countryside

The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust is recruiting volunteers to collect tree guards to try to clean up the countryside.

Plastic tree guards protect young saplings, but as the trees grow, these guards are often forgotten and end up as litter.

I do believe we can do this. Though I dought our governments sometimes. I think they see how this world is turning out because of the impacts we've made as a species. But now we know what needs to be done and we must enforce that vision into a reality to give this world a future and the human race a chance to improve itself by protecting and looking after our world.
