I almost bought a hi point myself for $159. Decided to save a little more and bought a SD9VE for $280 out the door. The video you did on the SD9VE help me make my decision. It's a really good pistol.

That's awesome that you have an appropriately sized bike... I'm also 6'8, and I know what a struggle it can be to find ANYTHING that fits right. Enjoy! Great video. Thanks for sharing!

Average Joe
I have been a hickok45 watcher for the past year. The videos are just down to earth good fun with just the right amount of technical and historical content. I appreciate all the effort you and John put into the videos and a radio shows.

Hickok, love the 100 year anniversary you did for the 1911, you did it proud man. and love the history you tell of whatever you shoot. I don't care glocks, but I enjoyed the videos because of you taking the time to get the story of how it came to be.

Loved the bit about Hi-Point!! I was in that exact situation recently and wound up going with a used Smith and Wesson model 3000 !!! $125 cash out the door.

thanks for the company during my drive. I would love to see a video comparing DAO semi autos. Sig DAK and p250, HK LEM, seem to forget there is another option besides SA and D/SA. Great info for newbies.

I love living in Tennessee! You should see the scene outside right now! The color change is a sight to behold and the ladybugs are out by the millions! I wish I could go to the mountains right now!

Good and relaxing with a good view. Always love the fall in the hills of TN. It is beautiful going to my relatives along Chimney Rock looking over into the valleys. They live in Cookeville TN and it is a good fall trip. I have ridden a Cookeville to Lebanon scenic train ride which is great in the fall. It was a good video to enjoy tonight.

I enjoy watching your videos and learning something about vintage firearms and actually watch them perform. I like the newer firearms as well.

What is interesting about me, is that I don't even currently own a gun, I have had a couple in the past, I had a cheap 9mm that was stolen out of my truck about 15 years ago, then I got a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 magnum that I scoped up and hunted with for a couple of years, then I sold that and also got in trade back a Ruger 357 security six, which I sold so I could buy a Samsung Tablet. I am trading some labor (I'm an Electrician) for a brand new Springfield XDM 45 ACP 5.25 Competition pistol, of which I really enjoyed your review and shooting video on this gun. But I guess my point is you don't have to be a huge gun owner to enjoy these videos. Sometimes it just about the person and what they have to share rather than just the subject of videos. Keep up the great work Hickok45

Your fans love ya Hickock45 and I am one of them. I prefer the videos discussing one gun versus another (like a Glock 19 versus a M&P9c) but others are just entertaining. I am too old to like Tosh O but his fans likely don't take him very serious. Broadcast/cable TV is getting harder and harder to find something worth watching. You are one of my go to channels where I am certain that I can learn something or be entertained, if not both. And you should be proud that you are doing something you enjoy and sharing it with others to enjoy.

Keep 'em coming.
