Chapa Dux - Politician (With Lyrics)

Born in 2008 in the mythical Atlantic coastal place of Sintra, Chapa Dux blends a wild fusion mix of reggae and ska into the open consciousness of dub. The eight band members' vast musical backgrounds -- covering jazz and pop, world music and classical music, reggae and rock -- melt into a spellbinding trip across cultures and emotions peaking on stage on a powerful journey that no one can resist, flooding you with a rush of love and the uncontainable beat of dance.

Following live performances at a number of major festivals across Portugal, Chapa Dux eventually won the first prize at one of the country's most important contests for newcomer bands, comprising the professional recording of the "Be Strong" studio album and giving the band the opportunity to spread their musical seed overseasm and allowing them to partake in the worldwide renowned South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas in the U.S.A.
