Hi just wanted to thank you for doing this vid, and' I was glad you mentioned the graphics, I will be 65 this july and have been playing this game from the start and I only missed a few of the very early destiny 1 seasons due to lung cancer. but I do like the idea you mentioned the graphics because I don't think the younger people that play actually understand where gaming has evolved from. the early days the graphics were in your head, like dungeons and dragons was only a typing game as a puzzle. that was the early 90's. thanks again. cheers!

I tried this at 1760 level but quickly gave up. I wasn't aware that it would be so difficult after getting to that point was easy as.
Bungie has gone OTT with increased difficulty, perhaps they need to dial it back for people like me that's cross eyed and slow to move 🤣

Thanks for that intro part I didn’t know where those little nodes were to start the mission but it wasn’t too bad solo. Basically went in blind after the mission started. Hunter arc build pretty much clears all the adds with melees and boss was pretty smooth with the build and witherhoard-ikelos-retrofit and volatile rounds when picking up orbs really helped with taking down boss hp!

"He will chase you" lol. Made me remember pushing him past the damage gate in the old strike and he'd go immune and rampage around the arena stomping the fire team.

that final 3rd of the boss' health bar was downright terrifying solo, just being chased around the arena by that madman.

Trick on the last phase of the final boss. The pools of fluid rising up on both sides can be used for cover.

With destiny, the ammo economy is either a banquet or a famine. It's never in between even with "finders".

Something I discovered while doing this mission. In the second phase, Brakion's barrier can actually be pierced by Pulse Rifle rounds if you happen to have the mod unlocked on your Ascendant Scepter. It saved me from having to do the firewall part over and over again.

EDIT: They caught on to my ploy. Can't do it anymore :(

I never thought about a sniper mod. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I gave up after dying too many times in phase 2 of the final boss. I wasn't doing enough damage on the short damage phase. I'm only 1785 Warlock. I think my resilience was only 85. I was running throughout the whole mission, but I couldn't imagine if I made it to the final faze. I'll give it another shot after I hit 1800.

This mission is absolute garbage. Literally everything about it, the infinite ads, the horrid checkpoints, the maze like layout. God I can’t wait to never touch this trash again
