There's a lot of people who watched engineering explained and then immediately dismissed any benefits from slotted or drilled rotors. This guy's explanation makes the whole concept makes sense.

Great video. I hate it when my brakes get that vague mushy feel going down steep mountain roads and in heavy traffic. Maybe I could use some higher quality pads since the stock brakes on my econobox car are crap anyway :\
