Kanji Part 2 - learning/teaching how to read

While largely geared towards teachers, I hope everyone can find something helpful in this video.

I focus on how I introduce my students to reading kanji without really spending class time specifically studying kanji. Like with everything else I do in my Japanese class, doing things in context is very important.

Please note, this is not intended as a comprehensive method to learn all commonly used kanji.(I will talk about that in the next/final kanji video) This is how I introduce it to my students and get them used to reading Japanese with kanji in it.
