Every summer, animals wander from one area to other in search of water. Elephants move in groups from the interior of the forest to places where water is available. At times, they may have to cross the roads passing through the jungle. Such is the case in this vlog.
This area is INDRA GANDHI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY now named as ANAMALAI TIGER RESERVE - TAMILNADU - INDIA, beyond which lies CHINNAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY of KERALA. Here, Elephants move in herds from the jungle to the Dam seeking water. On their way, they have to cross the road leading to Munnar from Udumalpet.
Forest Department take care of these activities. They know the count of the animals, their path and their time of crossing the road. So, during summer, every evening Forest Guards reach those places and safe guard the wild animals. In the forest limit, priority is for the animals and we not supposed to disturb them. We have to give way to the animals. DO NOT SHOUT OR TEASE THE ANIMALS. DO NOT SOUND HORN IN THE JUNGLE LIMITS.
