Finding Our True Home | Sister Dinh Nghiem

Where is our true home? Is it a particular place with particular people within a particular culture? What if we had to leave our "home"? Or lost the people we held most dear? Or grew up in a culture vastly different to that of our parents'?

In this deeply moving talk, Sister Dinh Nghiem ("Adornment with Concentration") shares her experience as a child of a refugee family, the death of her father, finding Thay as her teacher and touching peace in the practice of dwelling truly in the present moment.

The talk was given as part of a themed retreat for young people of Asian heritage who were born or grew up in the west.

You both suffered deeply, but you have shared how both you and Thay transformed your suffering. Minute 12:53 "...Because the suffering we have is very little compared to his...". How do you know about other people suffering in order to make such an innacurate statement?. Unless you are referring to some of the silly childish new age crowd part of Thay's sangha in the west. Because in that case your statement will be correct.

You have to admit there is a linguistics discrimination because being Spain a neighbour with France and also being Spanish a language spoken in many other Countries, there is not one single dharma talk in Spanish nor Subtitles anywhere. It is a mistake to exclude millions of people in the world.

The spirit of Man is intrinsically and intimately woven into the fabric of existence.
There is no separate soul, we all share part of one. The same way this cant exist without that is the same way that soul is this soul.
Come home and see, gain the compassion, forgivness, and love meant for life from life.
The fundamental Law's of existence are as states:
The Law of Duality (polarity)
The Law of Causality (cause and effect)
The Law of Karma (animation/action)
And lastly what is,
The Law of Emptiness (inert potential - potentially anything)
Love ya all my fellow forms of existence ❤️ ✨️😂😂😂😂

Karma is what potentializes emptiness.
Animation, action.. starts the ride and depending on the potential now in motion which you/we are responsible for, the experience of life is lived.

May Thich Nhat Hahn be forever in bliss ❤
