How to play The Chameleon - Blend in, don't get caught.

Everyone knows the secret word except for the Chameleon. But who is the Chameleon?

Using one carefully chosen word each, try to catch out the imposter. But when someone is this good at blending in, innocent people start looking guilty and the Chameleon can escape undetected.

The Chameleon is a new party game created by Rikki Tahta (Coup) and crafted by Big Potato. It's the ultimate family board game.

I had a friend who ended up as the chameleon 7 rounds in a row. By the 3rd and 4th round, we automatically disqualified him because it's statistically impossible for it to be him. By the 5th, 6th, and 7th, we automatically voted him chameleon without giving clues and he was detected. That game night is always brought up in our friend group to this day! Such a good time 😄😄

In the first round I played the secret word was rapunzel and one of my friends said “chameleon” as her word and we all just sorta stopped

We play with Among us rules. If we i correctly guess someone they get voted out and we re-roll the dice for a new word at the same topic. We do this until we vote the chameleon. If the chameleon guesses the word right they win but if not then they lose. Makes it much more fun ☺️

the detail that the bottom person is just always confused and saying stuff with uncertainity is too accurate to the fact that some ppl just naturally act suspicious

I don't understand how this game works if the chameleon's turn is first. I tried with friends and it was very obvious who the chameleon was because they have no idea what the topic is. If they are vague that will also be obvious.

I think if the chameleon can't be named, play should continue until the chameleon can be called out.
