The crane is a symbol of Ukraine and love for the native land. CRANE - called "Bird of God" or "Bird of the Sun". According to Ukrainian beliefs, cranes were also messengers of God. It was believed that cranes take the souls of the dead to the underworld in autumn. And in the spring, on the contrary, they bring the souls of those who are to be born.
In the villages, it is believed that cranes nest only near the houses of good people
