Replace Pull Rope Homelite XL12

Replace the pull rope / starter rope on a Homelite XL12 chainsaw. The same process applies to many chainsaws, string trimmers, lawn mowers etc.
If you don't know the length of rope required by your equipment, you should either consult the manual, or take the rope (or pieces of rope) to be replaced and measure them.

Have you done a video when the pull rope is under the spring wheel as a husky or older Polan that has to be taken all apart to replace the rope Good video thanks

nice, Thank you. I would heat up the rope end after tying knots in them also. I like to over kill everything (LOL)
