Maricopa County Attorney's Office detective accused of murdering his wife

According to court documents, John Byrd told detectives that 'a switch just flipped' in him during a heated argument with his wife. Byrd is a detective with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. FOX 10's Nicole Krasean reports.

He probably had reached a point where he was questioning his own existence. I spent a few weeks in and out of the Phoenix area and was wondering why anyone would want to live like that. Living in a furnace full of traffic and crowded with people 24 hrs. a day. There is more to life than waking up, working and making the house payments. The fake American dream/nightmare is a real problem. Especially working in an overcrowded oven.
