Planting Out Peas

Peas are a great food to grow, especially in the cooler parts of the year. With many varieties to choose from growing peas should be on every veg growers crop list. In this video I plant out Mangetout and Marrow Fat Peas.

I'll be starting to sow mine Easter weekend Jason, I always grow them in guttering, growing 3 varieties this year, one a heritage called Nee Plus Ultra, I can remember that on a BBC series called the victorian kitchen garden, Steve Colwell

We often go right past cool to hot weather in the Chicagoland area. So peas hate that. I do a short variety called Tom Thumb and they always finish up in time. I have to put chicken wire fence around them as they are a bunny buffet favorite.
