A new Batman is actually pretty weird for Rocksteady. Mostly because they ended the series and now that Batman is finished they would have to ether do a reboot of the series. Like what GoW did which might be kinda cool, one of the best Batman comics to ever exist is The Dark Knight Returns which has a similar narrative ( the best one imo). The issue is that the ending of Knight really stuck them in a box and its hard to find a way out without kinda making an entirely new character. It also leaves room for something like a, Robin game, Nightwing game, or do a new Batman. All of those ideas are going to be a hard sell and will 100% sell less than a regular Batman game which after Suicide Squads failure might be to much of a risk. So i think its probably going to be a reboot and if they stick the landing with a really cool idea, i think it could be awesome.

For me to think the state of play is good there would need to be NEW ip's revealed that really interest me. And if a game is Exclusive anymore(it's 2024) Then I will never support that game ever even if it comes to a different platform later. Games should be on all platforms and studios will make more money. No reason for it. Doing so will just hurt them both.
