Peruvian ex-president sentenced to more than 20 years in bribery case

Former Peruvian president Alejandro Toledo has been sentenced to more than 20 years in prison for corruption during his time in office.
Toledo was found guilty of accepting 35 million US dollars in bribes from Brazilian construction company Odebrecht.

He fled to the right country, the US, to attempt to hide from the right hand of justice. Kudos to the Peruvian justice system in this case. He reminds me of old-head mobsters and politicians when found guilty. All of a sudden they have diseases and their old age is a factor. Where was this concern when they are committing crimes? Smh.
