Welp, I wasn't expecting to cry while watching a video of people playing drums today, but here we are.
An amazing tribute. Everyone involved, thank you for this.

My friend and drummer, introduced me to
HUM in 1998, he died 3 months after Inlet came out, and shortly before Matt died. We used to cover Stars and that first fill will ALWAYS make me think of Ryan Q. Miss you buddy.

I played along to the first two Hum records so much during my formative years as a drummer, getting to be an IDC colleague of his, however briefly, was a dream I never knew I had. So this was a truly special thing to be a part of. Rest In Power, Bryan ❤️❤️❤️

Bryan was my favorite drummer in my favorite band. He was creative but not showy, powerful but sensitive, perfect for the music. I remember convincing my teenage band to cover I'd Like Your Hair Long just because I wanted to play his parts live. RIP to the best and condolences to his family and the HUM family.

Bryan is and forever shall be a badass drummer! One of my heroes ! I am a fellow skinsmith - as bryan once put it- and met the man many moons ago. It was an honor

I’m so sad to discover Bryan after he’s passed. He is a huge influence in my playing style now, and i will forever cherish his work!

I didn't realize how huge an influence Bryan was on my drumming until I listened back to some of my first recordings with my band. Then it clicked just how much he'd shaped the way I play. I was thrilled when the band dropped Inlet in 2020 and devastated when he passed, he and Hum will always mean a lot to me.

I love all these drummers but not one of them played with the intensity that Bryan played with.

The dummies who continued to hit the cymbals after the first beat 🤦🏽 would have liked to hear everyone’s drums not just the studio recording. Some dudes were playing hihats when there’s no hihats being played lol
