Dreamweaver CS5.5 Tutorial (Roughly Based on David Powers Building Your First Website Tutorial). This is video is made for students going through the tutorial to watch the tutorial rather than have to just rely on reading each step. This covers about the first 3 parts of the tutorial, just enough for a business student to complete their project.

i've been looking all over the web for a clear and thoughtful tutorial on DW/div/tag/css--this is the best one i have come across. he has a methodical patient approach which is is missing in most tutorials. manyf tutorials get stuck in the technical weeds and geek talk and fail at the most important part of a tutorial--which is to TEACH. He does a great job of teaching. my suggestion --be a little more specific.eg. "go over here to attach the style sheet" better to say go the style panel"

Thank you very helpful. How do you know how many pixels you would need to add or subtract from the sides? For example you said at one point that you needed to add/subtract about 20 pixels to make the rest of the page underneath the main image flush with the edge.

I am following this tutorial but cannot get the columns to line up vertically. what could I be doing wrong?
