VLOOKUP, but for images - Dynamic Image based on user input - Excel Trick

A while ago, someone asked me "how to show an image dynamically based on user input?". In this video, let me show you what I call "VLOOKUP for images". This powerful trick lets you display employee photos, product images or other such things based on user input.

Thanks for your video. Can you load the picture directly from local/network drive instead of the picture from the other sheet? Ex: once user enter EmployeeID, it will load the picture of that employee from the drive where there are hundreds of thousands employees' pictures. Thanks a lot

Hi Chandoo, I used Vlookup, formula works in a cell. But when I put tje vlookup formula to the name manager, I got "reference is not valid" error :( Any idea about that? Thnaks

Sir I need guidance regarding :
Instead of storing the no. of pictures in a worsheet is it possible if I select a unique rollno or sno from a dropdown it fetches the image from the path given in the worksheet adjacent to rollno eg

Rollno Path
10001 d:\photo\10001.jpg
10002 d:\photo\10002.jpg
So on . Kindly guide
