NCC Joint Annual Training Camp-12 Organised At National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur

The training of Inter Group Governor Banner cum Joint Annual Training Camp-12 organized in the premises of National Institute of Technology, Adityapur under the aegis of 37 Jharkhand Battalion NCC Jamshedpur under NCC Group Headquarters Ranchi is at its conclusion. A cultural program cum closing ceremony was organized on Tuesday, July 09, 2024. This NCC camp started from July 01, 2024 and will run till July 10, 2024. In this ten-day camp, a total of 687 NCC cadets from 39 educational institutions under Kolhan Division and all 08 NCC battalions of NCC Group Headquarters Ranchi received their training. The chief guest of the cultural cum closing ceremony of the NCC camp was Associate Dean Clinical Brigadier H.C. Bandhu of Manipal Tata Medical College, Sena Medal and among the invited guests were Adam Commandant of Station Headquarters Lt. Colonel Rajesh Gupta, Registrar of NIT Adityapur, and other officers were also present in the program.
In the cultural cum closing ceremony, the NCC cadets who came to the camp enthralled the guests and NCC cadets by giving one colourful presentation after another. After the cultural program, those cadets who participated in the NCC camp and who gave their best performance in the camp were awarded. During the camp, Guard of Honour, Kartavya Path, PM Rally, Cultural and Best Cadet were selected on the basis of their excellent performance to participate in the Republic Day Camp to be held in New Delhi.
On the basis of excellent performance for Best NCC Officer, Third Officer Antara Chakraborty, St. Mary's Hindi High School was awarded in the Junior Wing category. Best Caretaker Officer was awarded to Dhananjan Sharma, NML Kerala Public School and Caretaker Officer Shubham Kumar, Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya Telco. GCA Award was given to GCA Nisha Kumar, Kerala Public School Mango and GCA Ayushi Kumari, NML Kerala Public School. BCA Award was given to BCA Vishal Pandey. For some other awards like sports competition, deal competition, cultural competition, NCC cadets were also rewarded with medals and cash prizes to boost their morale.
The closing ceremony of the program concluded with the closing speech of Colonel Vinay Ahuja, Camp Commandant. He congratulated the NCC cadets for successfully completing the camp and wished them a better future. Along with this, on behalf of the entire team of 37 Jharkhand Battalion NCC, he wholeheartedly thanked the Director of National Institute of Technology, Adityapur, Mr. Gautam Sutradhar, 220 Field Regiment, Adityapur Municipal Corporation, Civil Surgeon Office, Saraikela, Superintendent of Police Office, Saraikela, Jusco Tata Steel and other officials and NCC officers for successfully conducting the camp.
