It's quick and easy and should should greatly slow down the damage of under body corrosion.

As it turns out, the rust remover that I have used for years was recalled for not having a child proof cap and is not longer available in Canada.

Just did my first oil change on a g37x I picked up in March and was surprised by the much rust on the sub-frame, your method is pretty much identical to what I had in mind but the rust converter/remover is a nice touch I'll have to give that a try.

I have a 2011 G37x that I bought last August and was shocked at the amount of rust the first time I was under the car. Living in Iowa we also use a lot of salt and will address once it warms up. Wondering if the Gs are more susceptible?

Are automatic g35s rear subframe the same as Manual g35s ? I got an 06 g35 coupe manual and I’m about to buy an 05 g35 rear subframe from an AUTOMATIC Will it fit right in ??

Would it be worth buying an 08 g35x 135k miles will a Rusty subframe for 3500 as a 17 yo? I’m thinking if it’s dangerous n how much to fix n other problems it could cause? Anyone have any helpful insights?

I'm not sure what I did differently but the Permatex didn't seem to do much... Definitely didn't take it down to bare metal.
